THE INFORMATION IN THIS PRESS RELEASE IS NOT INTENDED FOR RELEASE,  DISTRIBUTION OR PUBLICATION, DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, IN OR INTO, THE UNITED STATES, AUSTRALIA, BELARUS, HONG KONG, JAPAN, CANADA, NEW ZEALAND, RUSSIA, SWITZERLAND, SINGAPORE, SOUTH AFRICA, SOUTH KOREA OR ANY OTHER JURISDICTION IN WHICH THE RELEASE,  DISTRIBUTION  OR PUBLICATION WOULD VIOLATE ANY APPLICABLE LAWS OR REGULATIONS.

The Board of Directors of Aqilion AB (publ) ("Aqilion" or the "Company") has on March 12, 2025, decided to extend the subscription period for the Company's ongoing rights issue until March 26, 2025.

The subscription period now runs until March 26, 2025, instead of March 12, 2025 as previously communicated. The new subscription period thus runs during the period February 26, 2025 until March 26, 2025 and the timetable for the rights issue is adjusted in accordance with the extension. For other terms and conditions regarding the offer, please refer to the press release which Aqilion published as of February 12, 2025 and the information memorandum distributed to shareholders on February 21, 2025.

The Board has assessed that an extended subscription period is to the benefit of the Company and the existing shareholders as it ensures that the Company's foreign shareholders and stakeholders have time to subscribe for shares during the subscription period.

The last day of the subscription period is March 26, 2025, and the estimated date for the announcement of the outcome of the rights issue is April 2, 2025
